Dust Cover Haiku

Inside the dust cover, there is a Haiku:

Be solid, have grit;
sparkle even as you pine.
Here lies a joy divined.

Interestingly, the last line has 6 syllables, which breaks the usual 5, 7, 5 Haiku pattern.
